EPMA Council Information

EPMA Constitution
Under the EPMA's Constitution authority is vested in the General Assembly of members, which meets annually. A Council, directly or through its Executive Board, implements policies and decisions of the General Assembly and ensures effective operation between Assemblies. Day-to-day management is in the hands of the Executive Director and his office

The Council
The EPMA Constitution required the Council to be composed of a minimum of seven individuals with voting power and appointed by the General Assembly. In practice, the Council has always been larger than its permitted minimum. Initially, it was constituted with 12 members and has since been increased to 16.

The EPMA elected a new Council and Executive Board for a 3 year term from 2010 - 2013. The election was held during the Associations 21st General Assembly at Brussels, Belgium.
