Launch of new electro motor driven Press line type EP

Dorst Technologies introduced their new EP Press at a product presentation at the Dorst Headquarters in Kochel a. See, Germany. This servo motor driven powder press complements the well known existing lines of mechanical and hydraulic CNC presses from Dorst in the market. With the utilization of electrical drives Dorst brings the servo drive technology now to the PM industry. The highly dynamic and electrically efficient drives allow the programming of individually well defined press movements and speeds throughout the press cycle, the availability of the full torque load from the start of the cycle delivers unrestricted press forces when needed, and the integral closed loop control ability of servo drives allows the operation of the press by attaining position or force within very tight and steadily repeatable tolerance windows.
