Description:
Development of the fuel pump of an automobile. Development of the bearing is demanded with the spread of an automobile all over the world. Especially, we enjoy the good reputation of this reliability in the countries where they use the fuel containing many impurities such as shulpur and shuphide. Nickel silver has excellent resistance to corrosion and wear and wear compared with conventional bronze material. The result of the sulphuration-proof test pruved the optimisation of alloy composition of this development based on nicked silver material. Furthermore, P was added as a matrix strengthening material for wear resistance improvement and C was added as a solid lubricant for sliding characteristic improvement. As a result, the bearing, which used Cu-Ni-Zn-P-C alloy, did not corrode in dipping test to inferior fuel with high sulphur concentration. This actualiced low wear loss with wear proof test in inferior fuel.
