Description: This complex pressed product was designed to meet the following criteria: a) combination of two different secondary heat treatments (plasmanitriding and induction hardening); b) realisation of tight tolerances on the inner spline, independent from the dimensional changes due to two secondary heat treatments. This resulted in the substituion of a steel part by PM, which created a significant cost advantage
