SimpaTec GmbH ( www.simpatec.com ) is an engineering company based in Aachen , Germany . The core business is the process and part optimization for injection molding simulation. SimpaTec uses the simulation tool Moldex3D that offers, not only the traditional 2.5D simulation, but also full 3D simulation including the gating system, the cooling system and the mold itself. With this technology, also different mold materials and complex cooling systems like conformal cooling channels can be covered.
