The Institute for Materials Research III at Karlsruhe Research Centre develops the Micro Powder Injection Molding process, i.e. manufacturing of very small or microstructured parts by PIM. Main focus of the research activities is the application of submicron and ultrafine powders as well as the improvement of tool and process technology. |
