The 20th iteration of the annual Summer School for young engineers, set to take place in Ciudad Real, Spain, has been delayed for the second year running due to restrictions imposed by COVID-19.

Due to take place at the University of Castilla la Mancha in July, the five-day intensive course covers all PM strands and is conducted by some of the leading academic and industrial personnel in Europe.

Aspirant PM students will instead get their opportunity to learn more about Powder Metallurgy free of charge during the 2021 Young Engineers Day, taking place online 9 September 2021.

Information on the 2022 PM Summer School will be available in due course – sign up to the EPMA mailing list to stay informed.

In the meantime, any students looking for an opportunity to improve their knowledge of any strand of Powder Metallurgy should send an enquiry to This email address is being protected from spambots.
