The Systematic Approach to Quality Management in Powder Metallurgy (PM) Seminar will mainly focus on the quality of Powder Metallurgy (PM) Structural Parts. PM Structural Parts are mainly produced by mixing, die pressing and heat (sintering) powder alloys before possible post processing. The main market for iron based PM Structural Parts is the automotive industry. The seminar will focus on the PM Structural Parts processes but most of the presented approaches can be applied to other sectors.

EPMA, through the collaboration of the EuroAM Sectoral Group, are proud to launch the 2nd Edition of the Introduction to Additive Manufacturing Technology booklet. This new edition, which was recently launched at the Euro PM2017 Congress & Exhibition in Milan, looks to expand on the original version by providing updated and enhanced case studies from a range of different industries, as well as updating some of the technical content from the first edition. The first edition was originally launched in 2013 by the EuroAM Group and since then it has been widely distributed and dowloaded from EPMA.com, as well as, given out at a number of promotional events throughout Europe and beyond over the past 4 years.
'This is a great booklet for potential users of the Additive Manufacturing (AM) process, as it provides a neutral view of the main AM processes available to date.' explained Andrew Almond, EPMA's Marketing Manager. He added 'It is with great thanks to Adeline Riou, Claus Aumund-Kopp, the original authors of the first edition, that the newly revised edition has been able to be produced. Without the EuroAM's committment and enthusiam the first edition would not have been made, or even updated!'
