Materials and Process Technology Engineer at Kennametal

The Engineer Materials and Process Technology RD&E is expected to support building a new carbide processing lab which will focus on core technology development in the field of powder and binder development of cemented carbide products, advanced powder shaping processes (extrusion, direct pressing, injection molding) and final sintering of the products. The Engineer RD&E will be reporting to the Manager Material Science RD&E.

Objective of the position is to drive developments of new processes and advanced materials in close cooperation with the Business, Global Product Management, Manufacturing Engineering and Product Engineering. The position is key to further expand Kennametal’s leading position in various product groups in the market through a strong, motivated, internationally oriented and effective R&D team capable of meeting the challenges of delivering a growth strategy within the EMEA region as well as globally.

The candidate can work effectively in a global matrix organization and is a good team player.
