Profitable AM applications combine high product performance with cost-effective production and efficient post-processing. Thoughtful design for AM (DfAM) is critical to success and helps us to extract the maximum benefit of additive technologies, whilst also minimizing its associated costs.

The webinar will focus on the idea of sharing information about qualifications for Designers of AM. This will help students, young engineers and industry representatives to understand and learn about the necessary competencies for designers of additively manufactured parts.

The presentation of the speakers’ hand on practice and experience as well as theoretical background for design concepts and answering the questions of the audience with respect to the topics covered in their presentations.
