Listed below are the various membership categories of the European Powder Metallurgy Association. All membership prices are provided on application. If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact the EPMA Secretariat.
European PM companies are welcome to join the EPMA as Full Members. Companies must be actively involved in one or more areas of powder metallurgy as listed below:
- Metal powder production
- PM based parts production, including new technologies
- Refractory metals production & processing
- PM semi-finished products production & processing, including new technologies
- Cemented carbides production
- Diamond tools
- Magnets
- Plant and equipment supply to the PM industry
- PM applications (users)
Membership benefits include :
- Participation in the EPMA Statistics Programme
- Voting rights at the Annual General Assembly
- Access to Annual General Assembly
- Industry Trends Reports and 'Key PM Figures' Bulletins
- Guidelines on 'Quality Assurance' & 'Environment, Health & Safety'

Companies eligible for Full Membership, who have PM related sales of between €3-10 million pa, are entitled to a reduction on Full membership fee.

Companies eligible for Full Membership, who have PM related sales of less than €3 million pa, are entitled to a reduction on Full membership fee.

Membership in this category is open to manufacturing subsidiaries of Full Member holding companies in the same sector. This category also applies to PM consultants who wish to be listed as a consultant within the EPMA Members Directory. Affiliate members do not have any voting rights, but otherwise enjoy all other benefits of Full Membership.
Affilate Members are not eligible to vote at the EPMA's Annual General Assembly, as it is the respective Full Member who has the eligability.
The 'Associate Membership' category of the EPMA is open to the following organisations:
- European companies with an interest in powder metallurgy, but not active in manufacturing metal powders, components or production equipment
- Non-European companies active in the manufacture of metal powders, PM products & production equipment
- Research establishments, scientific institutions or societies
Associate Members are not eligible to vote at the EPMA's Annual General Assembly, under the EPMA's Bylaws and Statutes.
'Individual Membership' (without voting rights) is open to persons with clear professional interests in the objectives of the association. Applications from individuals employed by organisations which are eligible for 'Full' 'Affiliate' or 'Associate' membership cannot be accepted as 'Individual' members unless their organisation is already a member in one of the above categories.
Individual Members' companies do not receive online promotion.
'Junior Membership' is open to persons under 30 years of age under the same conditions as those for 'Individual members' stated above.
