Abstract

Nowadays the advances in the production of different complex materials mainly fiber-reinforced composites granular composites and nanocomposites the quantitative methods describing the distribution of the secondary phases are being brought forward. In the presentation the quantitative characterization methods are demonstrated using a self-developed digital image analyzing software. The applied methods: quadrat method radial distribution function covariance morphological mosaic. Based on the results we compared the sensitivity and adaptability of the different methods.
