Abstract

Based on the review of literary sources and results of own research, we have identified and recommended the following methods for controlling pore structure parameters of sintered porous materials made of sponge titanium powders: Charge molding with a porogen which evaporates during sintering; Using a batch mixture of spherical and spongy particles; Pressure molding of powders through an elastic sheath or through a punch facing;

In order to adjust the parameters of micro and macrostructure we recommend chemical or electrochemical treatment of sintered samples and products, which allows increasing the oxide layer thickness on the pore surface and modifying the layer texture down to the nanoscale level.
