The customer requested an elegant and fine component as a result of the connection between a plastic material and stainless steel. This connection was particularly challenging because of the high geometrical precision required on the metal part, to allow the over injection of plastic, and the skilful dimensional control between the two metal parts.


Compared to other technologies, MIM was the best solution to create these two complex shaped components allowing a considerable saving in costs both in terms of machining and material, thanks to the less steps required to obtain the final shape and to the less waste of material
