This component made from 4340 steel is part of the clamping device - changed pocket - for full slot adjustable slotting metal cutters. These slot milling cutters use cutting inserts with four cutting edges. They are suitable for high table feeds resulting in increased productivity.


By using MIM technology coupled to heat treatment this has enabled in comparison with machining a parts cost reduction of more than 50% with similar physical properties.
