On March 17-18, 2025, the 9th AM Forum Berlin, Europe’s leading user conference for industrial AM, will open its doors. Staged under the motto „Boosting AM applications in industrial production“ the conference 2025 will bring together more than 750 AM users, enthusiasts, decision makers and experts across industries.
The goal of all parties involved is to learn from one another in the use of additive manufacturing technologies, inspire each other, answer key implementation questions and drive series application forward. The event is backed by leading competence partners, including Airbus, Deutsche Bahn, Daimler Truck & Buses, Mobility goes Additive, EOS, HP, Siemens, Trumpf Laser- und Systemtechnik, and Berlin Partner for Business and Technology. Their support underscores the conference’s role as a key platform for advancing industrial AM.
The event offers a fully-packed two-day agenda with excellent opportunities to engage with the experts on equal footing. Kicking off the experience, an exciting Pre-Networking Event will take place on the evening before the conference—a 1920s-themed party at the legendary Adlon Hotel, located next to the Brandenburg Gate. In a relaxed atmosphere, participants can connect with fellow attendees ahead of the main event. The evening will be officially opened by Franziska Giffey, Mayor of Berlin and Senator for Economic Affairs, Energy and Public Enterprises and David Hampel, Head of Unit Manufacturing Industries, Berlin Partner for Business and Technology.

In addition to the presentations, the program will include interactive workshops, deep dives, discussions and industry meetups. On Day 2 participants will have the opportunity to explore four exciting 3D printing locations in Berlin, including Gefertec, Quantica, BAM (Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing), and Motorradwerk Berlin—offering unique, first-hand insights into innovative AM applications.
Furthermore, Mobility goes Additive e.V. and IPM AG are once again jointly inviting female AM experts and leaders to an inspiring „Women in AM Luncheon“ during the 9th AM Forum. The aim is to increase the visibility of female talent in the additive world, support the networking of women in specialized and management positions, and empower female newcomers to the industry. Brigitte de Vet, CEO, Materialise will be welcomed for an inspiring impulse talk. The event is supported by Women in 3D Printing and 3dnatives.
In the exhibition, innovative AM software, material, technology and service providers showcase hands-on solutions and strategies for the successful implementation of additive technologies in existing production environments. Among them are leading AM solution providers as well as several hidden champions all up to answer questions. Over 90% of the exhibition space has already been booked.
In summary, the AM Forum Berlin is the place to be for anyone using or planning to use additive technologies. It is aimed at beginners as well as advanced users and professionals from various industries such as aerospace, automotive, railway, mechanical engineering, consumer goods, construction, agriculture, medical technology, science and many other. Participants are encouraged to bring their specific questions about 3D printing, which will be answered at the conference and on the show floor.
