The International Conference on Sintering is a globally renowned forum dedicated to the science and technology of sintering—an essential process in the manufacturing of ceramic and powder metallurgical components.
The 202X edition, taking place in Aachen, Germany, will be the tenth in a prestigious series that began in 1995, continuing the legacy of the Sintering and Related Phenomena conferences originally held in the USA during the mid-20th century. Previous editions have been hosted in Penn State, Grenoble, Jeju, Dresden, San Diego, and most recently Gifu in 2023.
The technical programme will feature invited lectures, contributed talks, and poster presentations, covering fundamental research and industrial applications alike. The event welcomes students, researchers, academics, and industry professionals working in all aspects of sintering.
The host city, Aachen, lies at the border of Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. With a rich imperial heritage as the former residence of Charlemagne and a vibrant academic environment anchored by RWTH Aachen University, it offers an inspiring setting for international exchange.
