A memorial to Dr. Weber from the GKN Executive Team.

Dr. Weber shaped our company over many years with his outstanding commitment, foresight, and a strong focus on technology. His expertise and experience, widely recognized far beyond the boundaries of our organization, made a significant contribution to raising awareness of powder metallurgy and establishing GKN Powder Metallurgy as a global market leader.
He joined the company in 1984 as Manager of Powder Forging and went on to hold various senior management positions in Sales & Marketing, Operations, and Quality. A true all-rounder, he assumed the role of Global VP Operations & Technology in 1998. In 2002, Dr. Weber was appointed President European Operations, and in 2008, he became Global President Sinter Metals. From 2010 until his retirement in November 2012, he served as CEO.
Our deepest condolences go to his family and loved ones. We would especially like to extend our sympathy to his son, who is part of our team.
