The European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) has now released an early version of the Technical Programme for its forthcoming Euro PM2020 Virtual Congress, taking place 5-7 October 2020.

Europe’s leading Powder Metallurgy Congress will take place online for the first time 5-7 October 2020, as the European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) seeks to present more than 200 technical papers through its new online streaming platform.

For a limited time only, all EPMA print publications are avaliable to everyone free of charge.

Introduced in 2014, Young Engineers Day is run by the European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) as part of our commitment to help foster and develop the next generation of PM academics and industrialists.

Last week the EPMA and EuroAM sectoral group held the first of a series of free to attend, educational Powder Metallurgy webinars for 2020, focussing on the important topic of Additive Manufacturing Technology.

EPMA have moved it's headquarters to La Maison des Associations Internationales, rue Washington 40.

Free for anyone to join, EPMA’s new Webinar series will explore the key topics affecting Powder Metallurgy strands via presentations from experts in industry, research and academia.

Euro PM2020 Virtual Congress will be held online 5-7 October 2020, with the planned Lisbon Congress & Exhibition postponed until October 2021.

Regretfully, we have to announce this year's SUMMEREV, taking place in Aachen, Germany has been postponed.

We regret to announce that due to travel restrictions, the 2020 Additive Manufacturing seminar has been postponed until 2-4 December 2020.

The two events, due to be held in Brussels, Belgium 1-2 April, have been amended due to travel restrictions.

EPMA's 2020 HIP Seminar took place 10-11 March in Oslo, Norway, hosting 40 participants took part from all over the world including Japan, Canada, UK, Spain, Belgium and Germany.

The EPMA is proud to present the prestigious EPMA 2020 Powder Metallurgy Component Awards, which over the years, have done much to promote and stimulate interest in PM technology. These awards are open to all who manufacture components made by PM processes.

We regret to announce that due to travel restrictions, the 2020 Functional Materials seminar has been postponed until 17-18 November 2020.

At present EPMA have assessed the situation and has no plans for Euro PM2020 Congress & Exhibition to be cancelled due to the Coronavirus outbreak. EPMA will monitor the situation and keep you updated through our mailing list and social media channels as the situation evolves.

European Powder Metallurgy Association’s (EPMA) annual Euro PM Congress & Exhibition, will be for the first time, taking place in Portugal, in its capital city, Lisbon, 4-7 October 2020.

The reason for this decision is to overall improve efficiency through facilitating collaboration and communication as well as enabling a better platform for cost optimisation.
