Organised by Fraunhofer IFAM Dresden and TU Dresden, the triennial EMATec Conference will once again bring together researchers, developers, and industry leaders to explore innovative applications of Powder Metallurgy (PM) and Additive Manufacturing (AM).
The 2026 edition will focus on sustainable materials and technologies, addressing global challenges related to the energy transition, mobility transformation, and climate change. Key topics include:
Emerging PM and AM technologies and applications
Modelling, simulation, and characterization
Materials for hydrogen production and storage
Materials for waste heat recovery and storage
Magnetic materials for electric drives and converters
Participants are invited to present their latest developments through oral or poster contributions.
Join us in Dresden, one of the global centres of powder metallurgy, for four days of innovation and collaboration.
