European Metals invites EPMA members to build cross-metal expertise for the green, digital and circular transition
European Metals has announced the 6th edition of its Metals Academy, taking place at La Ramée, Jodoigne (Belgium) from Tuesday 18 May (noon) to Friday 21 May (noon) 2027.
Following five successful editions, places are expected to be in high demand. With capacity limited to 40 attendees, European Metals is asking interested organisations to complete a short, non-binding pre-registration form by the end of September 2026:

Who is it for?
Metals are central to Europe’s industrial, climate and resilience agenda. Professionals increasingly need to understand not only their own function but the broader value chain – how metals are produced, used, regulated, recycled, communicated and financed – and how these pieces fit into one coherent picture.
The Metals Academy is designed for newcomers and professionals seeking a broader, practical understanding of the non-ferrous metals sector, covering mining, metals fundamentals and recycling through to regulation, resource management, decarbonisation, markets and communication.
What to expect
- Expert-led lectures from industry and academia, plus high-level keynote speakers
- Hands-on workshops and a choice of interactive modules
- A multi-metal perspective on real-world challenges, including current geopolitical change
- Over 20 Continuous Professional Development (CPD) credits
The 3.5-day residential format offers direct exchange with the wider metals community and a chance to build a professional network in a relaxed, green setting – with Belgian hospitality and some fun and games along the way.
