MTC Powder Solutions Achieves Nadcap Accreditation for Aerospace HIP

Advancing our aerospace quality commitment

MTC Powder Solutions has achieved Nadcap accreditation for Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP), strengthening its ability to support aerospace programmes governed by demanding process-control, traceability and quality-assurance requirements.

The accreditation follows the successful completion of the PRI evaluation process and an Nadcap audit. It provides independent recognition of the systems, process discipline and technical controls applied within our approved scope. This milestone strengthens HIP service offering for the aerospace industry and reflects the standards pursued across MTC as a group.

What this means for customers

For aerospace customers requiring Nadcap-approved special processes, the accreditation provides formal recognition that MTC Powder Solutions has successfully completed the PRI evaluation process for the services covered by the approved scope. It gives customers added confidence in process control, pyrometry, documentation, traceability and the consistent execution of HIP operations.

The accreditation also supports their ambition to grow HIP Service business in aerospace markets where repeatability, objective evidence and disciplined process management are central to customer approval. It creates a stronger basis for supporting current programmes, new qualifications and long-term customer partnerships.

Reaching this milestone required commitment across every department and role at MTC Powder Solutions. Quality, Technical, Business Development, HIP operations and company management worked together through audit preparation, internal audits, document review, training, implementation and follow-up. Every completed action, challenged assumption and recorded improvement helped build the result.

This achievement belongs to the people who prepared the evidence, strengthened the procedures, operated the equipment, answered the audit questions and supported colleagues throughout the process. Nadcap accreditation is not an endpoint. It sets a platform for continuous learning, stronger skills and sustained attention to the standards expected in aerospace.

“This accreditation is an important and impactful step forward for MTC Powder Solutions. Since our acquisition, the business has continued to strengthen its capabilities, quality systems and position within the aerospace market. I congratulate Fredrik Johansson and the entire team on this achievement. Their commitment, teamwork and focus on continuous improvement have created a strong platform for the next stage of our development.”
