The Plansee Group has issued a second circular and Call for Abstracts for the 21st Plansee Seminar. Set to take place from June 1–6, 2025, at Plansee’s headquarters in Reutte, Austria, the seminar will focus on refractory metals and hard materials.
The Plansee Seminar will cover a variety of topics, from materials science to the latest achievements in extractive metallurgy, manufacturing technology, industrial applications and sustainability.
Rhenium, the last stable element discovered and an important alloying element for tungsten and molybdenum, celebrates its its 100th birthday. Consequently, the seminar will feature special lectures on scientific and industrial topics related to the element.

Registration for Plansee Seminar 2025 will open in December 2024.
