Sinto Advanced Ceramics Europe GmbH, based in Immenstadt, Germany, has announced the expansion of its material portfolio to include aluminium nitride and silicon nitride, following the production and evaluation of components made from the two non-oxide ceramic materials.

The company states that its existing oxide ceramic portfolio remains the basis for qualified industrial production, while aluminium nitride and silicon nitride are being offered for feasibility studies, prototype development and application-specific projects.
