Metal Powder Industries Federation elects new officers
Michael Stucky, Business Unit Director, Norwood Medical, has been elected the 32nd president of the Metal Powder Industries Federation (MPIF) for a two-year term, succeeding Rodney Brennen of Metco Industries Inc.
Stucky is very active within MPIF and the Metal Injection Molding Association (MIMA), having served on the MPIF Board of Governors as MIMA president. He is chairman of the MIMA Standards Committee, MIMA representative on the MPIF Technical Board, and was a co-chair of the PowderMet2023, MIM2017, and MIM2018 conferences. Over the years he has served on the PowderMet and AMPM Technical Program Committees. He received the Distinguished Service to Powder Metallurgy Award in 2019.
Two of MPIF’s six associations also have new presidents. Timothy Hackett, Vice President, Business Segment Manager – Powder and Clad, Kymera International, has been elected president of the Metal Powder Producers Association (MPPA) and will serve a two-year term.
Stefan Joens, president of Elnik Systems LLC, has been elected president of the Metal Injection Molding Association (MIMA) and will also serve a two-year term.
The current president of the Powder Metallurgy Parts Association (PMPA) Nicola Gismondi, PMT, vice president Sales & Marketing, MPP, has been re-elected to a second two-year term.
The current president of the Association for Metal Additive Manufacturing (AMAM), Christopher Adam, PMT, president & CEO of Valimet Inc, has also been re-elected to serve a second two-year term.
